The International Criminal Court (ICC) has elected Nigeria’s Mr. Chile Eboe-Osuji as the President for three years from 2018 to 2021. This was announced in a statement on Sunday by the Spokesperson/Head, Public Affairs Unit, Mr. Fadi El Abdallah, who said the three-year term is with immediate effect.

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo says the ongoing killings in Benue state by suspected Fulani herdsmen goes beyond what Nigerians see on the surface stressing that there was every need to get to the bottom of the bloodbath in the state. The group in a statement issued by its Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful hinted that mobilization for the protest had already commenced. He said the protest was aimed at compelling the federal government to produce their leader who disappeared after his house was allegedly raided by the Nigerian Army.
