Addressing President Buhari With His Military Title Is A Freedom Of Speech – Presidency


The Presidency has reacted to the move by the Punch Newspaper to henceforth address the title of President Muhammadu Buhari as, Major General, his rank when he left the Nigerian Army.

The House of Representative is proposing to separate the office of the Attorney-General of the Federation to become entirely different from that of the Minister of Justice. The House of Reps were worried that the continuation of the office being together will always attract political interference in the functioning of the Attorney-General.

VP Returns to Abuja After UAE Trip


The Vice President’s spokesperson, Laolu Akande in a tweet on Tuesday disclosed that his principal, Yemi Osinbajo has returned to Abuja after a trip to Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates to attend the Sixth Assembly of the Forum for Promoting Peace in Muslim Societies. 

The immediate past Governor of Ekiti State, Mr Ayodele Fayose has displayed remorse and said he is sorry to all the aggrieved People Democratic Party (PDP) in the state, urging them to work together as a family in the overall interest of the party. The former governor made this statement in his country home, Afao-Ekiti on Tuesday while addressing party faithful across the 16 local government area of the state.
