Popular Japanese multinational automotive manufacturer Toyota has said that there are plans in place to discontinue the production of the Toyota Land Cruiser after 2022.
Weeks after listing on the floors of the Nigeria Stock Exchange (NSE), giant telecommunication company, MTN Nigeria has launched its 4G+ network in Lagos, Abuja and Port-Harcourt. In a statement released on Tuesday, the telecom company in Lagos said the enhanced 4G+ service is aimed at delivering a premium experience to more people across the country.
German car lovers in Nigeria may now have some respite as Volkswagen Automobile Group reopened its auto assembly factory on the Badagry Expressway, Lagos, after 20 years of suspending operations in the country. According to the German automaker, the reopening was made possible through its partnership agreement with a private auto company, the Stallion Group for the assembly of the Volkswagen brand of vehicles in the country in line with the National Automotive Industrial Plan announced by the federal government in October 2013.
