The 13th Asagba of Asaba, His Royal Majesty, Obi Joseph Chike Edozien, joined his ancestors on 7th February 2024, the reverend monarch only began activities to mark his 100th birthday anniversary. Reports have it that the traditional ruler's demise became public on Wednesday night, with residents of Asaba describing his death as a great loss to the entire Asaba kingdom. Steps to get an official statement from the palace, over the demise of the monarch at the time of filing the report have proven futile.

I Never Wanted To Marry A Singer – Simi

Singer Simisola Kosoko better known as Simi has opened up about her marriage and career in an interview with Tea with Taypod. The 35-year-old mother of one said in the video that she never wanted to marry a singer. Simi said she didn't know Adekunle Gold was a musician then. According to her, he was a fan and a Photoshop guru who sent her messages on Facebook. She went ahead to say she met him as a graphics designer and had no idea "he was singing".
