Portable, a street hop musician by name, Habeeb Okikiola, has seek the forgiveness of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over spraying of naira on his fans in the past.

Portable’s plea is coming after the six-month jail sentence handed down to cross dresser, Okuneye Idris, known as Bobrisky, for Naira Mutilation offence.

Portable once declared he gave his followers almost N2 million daily in spray paint.

The street artist asserted in a recent stream that his actions bring kindness to people, following footage showing him splattering cash.

Portable announced that he would never engage in spraying of money as he encouraged his supporters to open bank accounts, adding that he would only make transfers.

“I didn’t deface the Naira, I help a lot of people, after God na government, please forgive me if you have videos of me spraying money, no more spraying of money”, he said.

Recall that the court had on April 5, 2024, convicted Bobrisky after pleaded guilty to a four-count charge of abusing the Naira currency made against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
