As political activities intensify ahead of the 2019 general elections, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has revealed how blind people will vote in the general elections. The Chairman of the Commission, Mahmood Yakubu, disclosed that ballot papers in braille will be provided for blind people during the 2019 elections, in order not to disenfranchise anyone.

National Assembly To Pass 2018 Budget Next Week – Reps

The House of Representatives says the 2018 appropriation bill will be passed next week.

Abdulrazak Namdas, the spokesman of the house, announced this while briefing national assembly correspondents on Thursday.

He said the budget would be laid before the lawmakers on Tuesday and passed within the week.

PDP Coming Back To Loot Treasury – Osinbajo

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has accused the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of plotting a return to power to resume the looting of the treasury.

Kogi APC Crisis: Audu/Faleke Group Abandons Party

The crisis rocking the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi has taken a different dimension as members of the Audu/Faleke Political Organisation in Kogi State have opted out of the forthcoming congresses.

The group said in a statement made available to newsmen in Lokoja on Thursday, that it was abandoning the congresses because Gov. Yahaya Bello had allegedly hijacked the process.
