Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, who was suspended from the Senate on Thursday following the adoption of a report by Senate Committee on Ethics and Privileges, has finally reacted to his suspension. In a statement issued by his Senior Legislative Aide, Efe Duku, the Senator disclosed that the condition issued to him by the Senate for his recall cannot be met given prevailing realities.

The Senate on Thursday suspended a pro-Buhari senator, Ovie Omo-Agege for 90 legislative days for his remarks during and after the consideration of the electoral acts amendment. Omo-Agege’s suspension followed the recommendation of the Senate Committee on Ethics, Privileges and Public Petitions, chaired by Senator Sam Anyanwu.
