President Muhammadu Buhari has today while holding a virtual Federal Executive (FEC) meeting has sworn in 12 Permanent Secretaries. The event took place at the Council Chamber of the Presidential Villa, Abuja, witnessed by the Vice President Prof. Yemi Osinbajo. According to a statement obtained from the office of the head of Service of the Federation (HoSF), Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan, the said Permanent Secretaries were first appointed in June and they include: Belgore Shuaibu Mohammad Lomido, Kwara; Ekpa Anthonia Akpabio, Cross Rivers; Ardo Babayo Kumo, Gombe state; Akinlade Oluwatoyin, from Kogi; Alkali Bashir Nura from Kano; Anyanwutaku Adaora Ifeoma from Anambra state.
Others were: Meribole Emmanuel Chukuemeka from Abia state; Mohammed Aliyu Ganda from Sokoto; Udo Moniloja from Oyo; Mahmuda Mamman from Yobe and Hussaini Babangida from Jigawa states.
Commissioners of the Federal Civil Service: Idahagbon Henry and Usman Hassan for the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) were amongst those sworn in by the President during the event.
Meanwhile, Ministers who were present during the virtual FEC meeting were: Abubakar Malami, Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Godswill Akpabio, Minister of the Niger Delta; Lai Mohammed, Information and Culture; Mohammed Bello, FCT; Hajiya Zainab Ahmed, Finance Minister; and Suleiman Adamu, for Water Resources.
Others were; Secretary to the Government of the Federation SGF, Boss Mustapha; Chief of Staff to the President, Prof. Ibrahim Gambari, and the National Security Adviser (NSA), Babagana Monguno.
However, the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Yemi-Esan, and Ministers joined the meeting through virtual means from their respective offices.
