The Supreme Court will today determine the authentic leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) when it rules on an appeal filed by the Ahmed Makarfi-led National Caretaker Committee. The Makarfi faction of the party had approached the Supreme Court after a Court of Appeal sitting in Port Harcourt recognized Sen. Ali Modu Sheriff as the authentic National Chairman of the Party.
