Emerging reports have revealed that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Monday proceeded with the recall process of Sen. Dino Melay, despite court order restraining the Commission from going ahead with the process pending the determination of the substantive suit.

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has redeployed 58 senior officers to various commands, units and bases including the newly established Branch and two training commands in Enugu and Kaduna. The establishment of the two new commands brings to six the total numbers of commands under the air force.

The House of Representatives on Tuesday, unanimously adopted a motion which among others sought to reverse Federal government’s policy which merged both Christian Religious Knowledge (CRK), Islamic religious Knowledge (IRK) and Civic Education as one subject in the Secondary School curriculum.

On Tuesday, the Nigerian Army and their Cameroonian counterparts held a bilateral talk on how to effectively address the menace of Boko Haram around the border.  The Nation Newspaper reported that the Theatre Commander, Operation Lafiya Dole, Maj. Gen. Ibrahim Attahiru made the disclosure after the Cameroonian military personnel visited the Military Command and Control Centre (MCCC) in Maiduguri, Borno state capital.

Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo, has approved the appointment of 19 judges for the National Industrial Court. The approval by the Acting President was based on the recommendation made to the Acting President by the National Judicial Council.
