The Federal High Court sitting in Lagos has ordered the international seizure of assets belonging to Olajide Omokore and Kolawole Aluko, both business associates linked to the former minister of petroleum, Diezani Alison-Madueke, until the court decides a suit filed before it seeking the recovery of the $1.7 billion owed the FG.

A female suicide bomber in the early hours of Monday, July 17, 2017 detonated an Improvised explosive device at a mosque at London Ciki area, Maiduguri, Borno state. In the aftermath of the blast eight worshippers were killed and 15 others injured according to the head of Borno State Emergency Agency, Ahmed Satomi.
