The leader of Movement for the Actualization of Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) has described the director of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu as a betrayer and a serial blackmailer. According to Vanguard, Uwazuruike stated this while reacting to claims that he compromised and slipped back in the pursuit for actualization of Biafra.

Acting President - Yemi Osibajo

Acting President Yemi Osinbajo on Monday visited the collapsed Mokwa-Jebba Bridge in Niger State for an n-the-spot assessment of the damage where he promised that the bridge would be repaired within two weeks NAN has reported. Osinbajo was accompanied by Niger State Governor Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello and Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Mr. Babatunde Fashola.

The Supreme Court has upheld the election of the Godwin Obaseki as governor of Edo State. A seven-man panel of judges led by Walter Onnoghen, Chief Justice of Nigeria, gave its verdict on Monday. This followed a judgment delivered in an appeal brought by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Osagie Ize-Iyamu, challenging the decision of the Appeal Court which had earlier upheld Mr. Obaseki’s election.
