One of the most used social media applications, WhatsApp has been down for hours. The popular instant massaging app has been unable to send or receive messages. WhatsApp is the go-to instant messaging app for smartphones and now desktop computers with Whatsapp Web making it very convenient for users. Whatsapp is now an essential part of daily life for customers using their data allowance to send messages, pictures, video, phone calls, and audio messages all directly through the app. That means Whatsapp needs to be working at all times without fail, but as usual, there are times when Whatsapp will suddenly go down without notice – sending users into a crisis as they can no longer send or receive messages for long periods of time.

Many users took to Twitter and other social media spaces to express their frustration as they are not able to use the green app owned by Meta.
