Australia 2023: Kanu Applauds Super Falcon For Beating Host Country

Arsenal Legend, Kanu Nwankwo has applauded the Nigerian Super falcon for performing against the host country, Australia in the ongoing 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup tournament currently ongoing in Australia. The former Nigerian International stated this while reacting to the 3-2 wins the Nigerian ladies netted their Australian counterpart today in the ongoing tournament.


The struggle at the Suncorp stadium in Austalia, the goal came from, Uchenna Kanu, Osinachi Ohale, and Asisat Oshola ensured that today, the super falcon made a statement on the pitch. 

Also scoring for Australia were Emily van Egmond and Alanna Kennedy against the Randy Waldrum’s side.
Meanwhile, reacting, the footballer turned philanthropist, Kanu twitted through his official twitter handle saying, congratulated the Super Falcons. 

Kanu tweeted, Congratulations, our super falcons, we keep going.” 

After beating Australia, Super Falcon is billed to clash with Republic of Ireland in their last group B encounter next Monday.
