Remo Stars Football Club (RSFC) Head Coach Daniel Ogunmodede has joined the Portuguese side, CD Feirense as part of their Coaching Crew. Ogunmodede who in 2019 travelled to Portugal for a coaching apprenticeship, guided RSFC return to topflight football, and also qualified the Youth Team of the club for the Federations Cup after coming second in the Ogun State FA Cup.

He has served as an Assistant Coach and also the Head Coach of the RSFC Youth Team in 2015.

Chief Executive Officer of RSFC, Lukmon Ogungbefun stated that he is happy about the improvement, and he wishes him the very best as one of the assistant coaches in CD Feirense, Portugal.

“First I must appreciate him and the technical crew for securing the team’s return to topflight football, we are so happy because we know that we belong to the top, and we will continue to try our best to remain at the top.”

“Ogunmodede has done well for Remo Stars since he joined, he helped with the development of our youth system and has now secured the team’s return to the NPFL, that is one of the reasons CD Feirense has requested to have him as one of their coaches in their senior setup.”

“All I can say is that I wish him the very best in all he does because the reward for hard work is more work, so I pray he succeeds as he joins our sister club in Portugal.”

“We are looking to get a new coach that will replace Daniel Ogunmodede, someone who understands the club’s philosophy and is very ready to move the club forward to a greater height. We are working on it, and I am sure his replacement will resume very soon.”
