House of Representatives members under the platforms of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) on Tuesday staged a walkout during plenary at the Nationals Assembly. The move followed the defection of Hon. Nnana Igbokwe from the PDP to the All Progressives Congress. The aggrieved lawmakers were informed by the unusual support accorded the defector by the Speaker of the House, Yakubu Dogara and other members of APC.
The defector is the House of Representative member representing Ahiazu-Mbaise/Ezinihitte federal constituency of Imo state.
