Popular American Superstar, Pink has been tested positive for coronavirus.

The singer who took to her Instagram page to share her experience last night said she got tested with her three years old son, Jameson, two weeks ago and the result came out positive.

Her post reads;

“My three-year-old son, Jameson, and I were showing symptoms of COVID-19 two weeks ago.

Fortunately, our primary care physician had access to tests and I tested positive.

My family isolated at home for the last two weeks following the instruction of our doctor.

“Just a few days ago, we were re-tested and are now thankfully negative.”

Meanwhile, she slammed the US government for its lack of preparedness, saying there was the unavailability of test kits to both health workers and citizens.

According to the celebrity, the United State government failed to make available ‘free testing” and accessibility for its citizen.

She further enjoined people to know that the dreaded virus is real and it affects both young and old alike, healthy and otherwise, rich and poor across the board, therefore she advocated for free testing which shall be widely accessible to all people by the government.

Consequently, she donated the sum of $500,000 to the Temple University Hospital Emergency Fund in Philadelphia in honour of her late mother, Judy Moore, who served there for 18 years of her life.

She further donated another trench of $500,000 to the Los Angeles Mayor’s Emergency COVID-19 Crises Fund.

Pink thanked all the Health workers who put their life online to protect others where she described them as “Heroes”.

Meanwhile, she advised people to remain in-door as their life is precious.
