Diffie, a native of Tulsa, Oklahoma, an icon to many country fans for his string of No.1 hits in the 1990s, has died from complications related to the coronavirus pandemic at age 61.
Grammy-winning country music legend Joe Diffie passed on 29th March 2020 from the COVID-19.
Two days before his death, Diffie released a statement saying he had tested positive for the pandemic coronavirus and was receiving treatment.
"My family and I are asking for privacy at this time. We want to remind the public and all my fans to be vigilant, cautious and careful during this pandemic," the statement revealed.
