‘Game Of Thrones: ‘When They See Us’, Others Win Big At The 71st Emmy Awards

The 71st Emmy Awards on Sunday at the Microsoft Theatre in Downtown Los Angeles opened with a tribute to the golden era of television, celebrating the successful years of television shows and series.

 

The biggest win of the event was ‘Game of Thrones’ which won Outstanding Drama Series, while ‘Fleabag’ won Outstanding Comedy Series, a first for the British Comedy.

Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister) of ‘Game of Thrones’ took home Best Supporting Actor in a Drama, while Julia Garner of ‘Ozark’ won Best Supporting Actress in a Drama.

Also, Jharrel Jerome of ‘When They See Us’ won Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited Series or TV Movie.
