The entire nation and Nigerian entertainment icons have continued to pour in their condolences across all social media platforms to singer Dbanj and his wife Lineo Didi Kilgrow, for the irreparable loss they suffered after their son lost his life. Daniel Oyebanjo III who turned one-year-old last May is said to have drowned at Dbanj's Ikoyi residence Sunday afternoon.

 

D’banj was in Los Angeles to attend the 2018 BET Awards when his son died.

 

Several celebrities have penned down their well wishes on Twitter.

 

"Wow!! Praying for strength for u and your family Dbanj! God’s own," Wizkid wrote.

 

Peter Okoye aka MrP wrote: "heartfelt condolences to Dbanj and his family. Words can never be enough. Stay strong," @iamdbanj.

 

"May God comfort Dbanj and his house hold. No amount of word is enough to heal or console at times like this but strength from the almighty to see you through it we pray for," Olamide tweeted.

 

"Stay strong Dbanj," Cool Dj Jimmy Jatt wrote.

 

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo wrote: "My heart and prayers are with Dapo and his family. No parent should ever have to bury a child. As a parent, it's the worst thing imaginable. May God give you the fortitude to bear the loss, Dbanj."

 

Meanwhile, little Daniel's remains have since been deposited at a morgue at GRA, Ikeja, Lagos.
