Unemployment: FG To Disburse N25bn On Agribusiness

As part of fulfilling its campaign promises of the Buhari lead administration on unemployment, Poverty, Hunger and youth restiveness in the country, the federal government has finalized plan to disburse N25billion to Nigerians through The National Directorate of Employment (NDE) and the Central bank of Nigeria (CBN) agribusiness loans scheme.

 The Debt Management Office, DMO has revealed the reason why the Federal Government borrowed over N2.32tn in 2017. The DMO in its 2017 Annual Report obtained in Abuja on Monday said the total amount was borrowed from both the domestic and the foreign debt markets.

N7BN Spent To Beef Up Security In Unity Schools - FG

The Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu said over N7 Billion was spent by the Federal Government to boost the security for 108 unity schools between 2017 and 2018. Adamu made the assertion yesterday in Abuja, while addressing the media on policies, programmes and other Government activities in the education sector.

Oil Plunges Nearly 8 Percent Despite Talk Of Output Cut

BOSTON Reuters reported that Oil prices slumped up to nearly 8 percent to the lowest in more than a year on Friday, posting the seventh consecutive weekly loss, amid intensifying fears of a supply glut even as major producers consider cutting output. Oil supply, led by U.S. producers, is growing faster than demand and to prevent a build-up of unused fuel such as the one that emerged in 2015, the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries is expected to start trimming output after a meeting on Dec. 6.
