Chelsea is in pole position to sign Colombia international and Real Madrid attacking forward, James Rodriguez according to Metro News. The report says the deal is set to be consummated soon as Real Madrid close in on a move for Spain International, Dani Ceballos.
It added that Rodriguez had since indicated interest to leave the club after a disappointing outing last season where he started only 13 La Liga matches in Real’s double trophy campaign.
The Colombian has attracted interest from tops leagues in Europe.
Several clubs including Manchester United had indicated interest to sign the Madrid Player. Zinedine Zidane is however reported to be favorably disposed to offloading the player to Chelsea if a considerable offer is made.
