Sequel to Court order suspending Comrade Adam Oshiomhole as the All Progressive Congress (APC) as the party national chairman, the APC caucus has announced names of its new officers.

The pronouncement of the court may mark a paradigm shift in the power struggle within the cabals of the APC following the Wednesday suspension of Oshiomhole.

The National Working Committee, NWC of the party has approved the nomination of Waziri Bulama as the new party’s acting secretary.

Mr, Victor Giadom, a former commissioner in Rivers state was the acting secretary and had earlier briefed newsmen about the new development.

Contained in the statement from the NWC, the APC National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu also approved the appointment of Senator Abiola Ajimobi as the new Deputy National Chairman (South) while, Mr Paul Chukwuma as it National Auditor.

The new development was hatched since January 14, 2020, during one of the meetings of the NWC at the party National Headquarters.

Sequel to the resignation of Mai Mala Buni as the Party’s National Secretary in May 2019 in his preparation to become the Governor of Yobe State, the party gave notice of replacement from the zone.

Earlier, Chief Victor Giadom who had been the acting National Secretary of the party had informed newsmen that the party would abide by the court order suspending the national Chairman until its outcome.

Meanwhile, some power brokers within the party had expressed subtle support for Giadom to oversee the affairs of the party in the interim, but the NWC’s late Wednesday decision seemed to have disrupted the permutations in the camp of those rooting for Giadom.
