Emerging reports indicate palpable fear among Ministers over plans by President Muhammadu Buhari to dissolve and reshuffle the Federal Executive Council (FEC) as soon as he returns to the country. A source in the Presidency who spoke to Vigil360 on condition of anonymity hinted that Ministers seeking to retain their positions have commenced lobbying of politicians close to the President "the cabals".

Some of the state governors nominated by the Governors' Forum to visit President Muhammadu Buhari in London met with him on Wednesday at the Abuja House. Pictures of the meeting were circulated online by the governor of Oyo state, Abiola Ajimobi. In one of his tweets, the governor posted a picture and captioned it "My counterparts, The Governor's Forum Delegation and I were warmly received by His Excellency, President @MBuhari in London, United Kingdom"

Chibok Girls

Minister of Women Affairs and Social Development, Sen. Aisha Alhassan, on Saturday said the rescued Chibok girls were ready for academic session in September and pleaded with abductors to release the remaining girls.

Suspended APC National Legal Adviser, Dr Muiz Banire

The Executive Committee of the All Progressives Congress in Mushin Local Government has suspended the National Legal Adviser, Dr Muiz Banire from the party for anti-party activities. The suspension follows recommendation his ward (Ward C, Ilasamaja, Mushin).

Six more State Governors are billed to travel to London to visit ailing President, Muhammadu Buhari, on Wednesday. Those listed are governors of Akwa Ibom, Ebonyi, Kano, Benue, and Oyo States, to be led by Governor Abdulaziz Yari of Zamfara. Two among those selected to visit the President Akwa Ibom and Ebonyi states governors are from the opposition party PDP.
