Malami Denies Challenging Atiku’s Citizenship In Court

Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, has said that he did not institute any legal action on the citizenship of the former Vice President of Nigeria, and presidential candidate of the Peoples' Democratic Party in the 2019 general elections,  Atiku Abubakar. INEC Announces Resumption Of Continuous Voters Registration

The Independent National Electoral Commission has said that continuous Voters Registration exercise will resume on June 28 across Nigeria. INEC Chairman, Professor Mahmood Yakubu, made this disclosure on Thursday at a press briefing held at the commission’s headquarters in Abuja, the nation’s capital. As of 2018 when the CVR was suspended, Nigeria’s voting population stood at 84 million, which translates to just 40 percent of the entire population. The commission earlier targeted the resumption of the exercise in the first quarter of 2021.
