NASA has set plans to launch its first manned mission to the International Space Station (ISS) in May 2020 with SpaceX's Crew Dragon, making it the US' first manned mission since 2011. In a statement by NASA, "SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket will transport NASA astronauts Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley from a base in Florida."

Since 2011, only Russia has been going back and forth to ISS, however, with Elon Musk's Crew Dragon which successfully made a round trip to ISS in March with a mannequin onboard shows how ready the US is for the mission.

SpaceX has made a total of 15 trips since 2012 but only to fuel the station.
