Google has launched a new cloud game streaming service called "STADIA". Sundar Pichai, Google CEO made the announcement yesterday, at the 2019 Game Developers Conference in San Francisco, USA.
According to ZDNet, the gaming service allows users to stream games from the cloud to devices like smartphones, tablets, computers and TVs (with Chromecast), making any device into a game console.
Pichai said Stadia would support surround sound, HDR and video resolutions of 4k at 60fps. He also explained that users can switch into any devices without having to turnoff any game.
Though Google is yet to reveal the release date or pricing information, insiders expect the company to make the disclosure during the Google I/O 2019 Conference at the end of May, 2019.
