Borrussia Dortmund Striker, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is set leave German Bundesliga for Chelsea in January. According to ESPN FC pundit, and former Venezuela striker Alejandro Moreno, the player had signaled his desire to leave Germany last summer after handing in an official transfer request. Although he later rescinded his decision, he is believed to have made up his mind to leave this January.

The striker got Chelsea fans excited with an Instagram post in July where he sat on the steps of an aeroplane wearing a blue jacket and blue trainers. Antonio Conte instead signed Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid, who has scored nine goals in his first 19 appearances for the club.

According to Moreno, “Didn’t he take a picture where he was all dressed in Blue outside a private plane? Did the plane leave, is that what happened? Did he stay on the tarmac or what? Is he still on the runway? He’s going somewhere, I don’t know if it’s Chelsea, but he’s going somewhere,” he added.

Aubameyang has scored 17 goals this season in all competitions.
