Former goalkeeper and captain of the Super Eagles Vincent Enyeama has dropped a hint about a possible return to the team he left after a row with former coach Sunday Oliseh. Present coach of the team Gernot Rohr has already confirmed a return is on the card for the 35 year old once he is back to full fitness, and also sort out his issue at French side Lille.

Enyeama has recovered from the surgery he had in the summer, but he is yet to get his club future sorted out as new coach Marcelo Bielsa of Lille axed him and ten others ‎from the first team. Shortly after Nigeria’s qualification for the World Cup, the former captain of the Super Eagles dropped a post on social media, which suggest a possible return to the team soon.

The two times nominee for best goalkeeper in France congratulated the Super Eagles after the 1-0 win over Zambia in Uyo which sealed their qualification for the World Cup in Russia. He later posted another line which suggest a return is near although it could mean something else judging by the call for divine guidance in the post.

“Countdown on. This is massive. Never wanted to do this but I don’t have a choice. Wish me luck”. He posted.
