President Muhammadu Buhari has been awarded African Union's Anti-Corruption Champion at the ongoing Afican Union Summit at Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The Personal Assistant to the President on New Media, Bashir Ahmad disclosed this on Sunday via his verified Twitter handle.
His tweet reads;
“President @MBuharihas been selected as the African Union’s Anti-Corruption Year Champion at the 30th#AUSummit2018 in Addis Ababa,#PMBAtAU.”
The President had departed Abuja for Addis Ababa on Friday to participate in the 30th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of Heads of States and Governments.
