No More Foreign Treatment For Buhari – Senate To State House Officials

The Senate has called on the statehouse officials to get its clinic in order to stop President Buhari from medical tourism outside the country. This call was made today at the plenary by the Senate house committee on Federal Character and Intergovernmental Affairs.

According to the Chairman of the Committee, Senator Danjuma Lar, while speaking to the Permanent Secretary of the state House, Mr. Tijani Umar, who appeared before the red chamber to defence of the 2021 budget.

The state House officials in their estimated budget presented N19.7 billion out of which N1.3biliion was pencilled for the state House clinic.

Meanwhile, Senator Lar revealed though they would approve the budget in their capacity for the state House clinic, however, proposed that president Buhari and his cabinet members can no longer be flown abroad for medical attention eventually they get this fund.
