The Federal Government have begun moves to sanction Kenya Airways for conveying a dead body from the Ebola-stricken Democratic republic of Congo to the country without due diligence.

The Minister of Health, Professor Isaac Adewole has directed all health workers in the Country to maintain high index of suspicion, by screening all fevers for Ebola and other hemorrhagic fevers.

The Federal Government has immediately stepped up inspection and disease surveillance across entry points in the country following announcement by the WHO of a confirmed case of the dreaded Ebola virus in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
