Lawmakers brawled in Uganda’s parliament for a second day running on Wednesday over a fiercely disputed move to change the constitution to let long-ruling President Yoweri Museveni run for re-election after age 75.

Clashes between two of Ethiopia largest ethnic groups that erupted this month have killed hundreds of people and displaced thousands, the government said Monday.

The United States Military on Friday conducted airstrikes targeting ISIS fighters in Libya. The Military strike is the first of its kind since Donald Trump became the United States President.  The US Africa Command made the disclosure in a statement released to CNN.
"In coordination with Libya's Government of National Accord and aligned forces, U.S. forces conducted six precision airstrikes in Libya against an ISIS desert camp on Friday. ISIS and al-Qaeda have taken advantage of ungoverned spaces in Libya to establish sanctuaries for plotting, inspiring and directing terror attacks,"

Three United Nations soldiers from Bangladesh were killed by an explosive device that detonated as they were escorting a convoy in northern Mali on Sunday, the West African country’s peacekeeping mission and Bangladesh’s military said. Attacks on peacekeepers in Mali, where Islamist groups continue to operate in the vast desert in the north of the country, have made the U.N. mission there, MINUSMA, the organization’s deadliest.

Kenya's Chief Prosecutor, Keriako Tobiko has ordered the police and anti-corruption agency to investigate the country's election commission for alleged "irregularities and illegalities" in the annulled presidential poll Al Jazeera says. Tobiko said the investigation of the officials of Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) must be completed within 21 days to allow relevant government agencies take necessary actions against those that would be indicted.
