Ghanaian actor John Dumelo over the weekend got joined to his beautiful girlfriend, Gifty Mawunya in a traditional wedding at her parent's residence at Spintex, Accra.
Mayunya is a sister to celebrated filmmaker and entrepreneur Selassie Ibrahim, and is also a close friend to popular actress, Nadia Buari.
Ex-president Mahama was among other prominent personalities and entertainment icons present at the wedding.
Top Hollywood actors and Ghanaian celebrities were also present including: Jackie Appiah, Majid Michel, Yvonne Nelson, Ramsey Noah from Nigeria, Prince David Osei, Edem, Coded, and many others.
Nadia Buhari took to her Instagram to celebrate the happy couple.
“My very best wishes to two of the most wonderful people on the planet…my bestie @missgeeonly and @johndumelo1," she wrote.
“U’re one of the very few lucky ones, because u found one another in this world of a gazillion people."
“What u have is extraordinary, and I feel honored that I’m witnessing the unfolding of ur love story," she added.
“It was not an easy journey, but I’m so glad that love conquered all."
