The Nigerian Port Authority (NPA) reports that twenty-four ships, laden with Premium Motor Spirit, food items, and other goods, are berthing at Apapa and Tin-Can Island ports in Lagos. The NPA made the disclosure in its publication titled 'Shipping Position', made available to NAN on Wednesday.
According to the report, the ships contained "buck wheat, bulk fertilizer, frozen fish, crude palm olein, bulk corn, bulk gypsum, Aviation Turbine Kerosene (ATK), base oil, aviation fuel, petrol, nd containers laden with goods."
The report added that already, 13 ships had arrived the ports and are waiting to berth with bulk fertilizer, bulk corn, soya beans, bulk maize, bulk palm olein and petrol.
Eighteen others are currently discharging buck wheat, bulk corn, bulk fertilizer, general cargo, bulk gas, truck, frozen fish, petrol, and containers.
Meanwhile, activities at the ports are expected to remain stable till August 27.
