Lenovo, Xiaomi, Vivo and OPPO all Chinese firms expressed interest in acquiring Qualcomm components with a total value of no less than $2 billion over three years.
Qualcomm, the U.S. chip maker made the revelation on Thursday.
During an event hosted by Qualcomm in Beijing, attended by the U.S. firm’s chairman and its chief executive, the companies unveiled the three year sales Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU).
According to a statement, the non-binding agreement will be subject to further agreements and covers technology related to RF Front-End components.
