The President of Real Madrid, Florentino Perez has insisted that the reigning world best footballer will not leave the club this summer as widely reported, stressing that the clubs has also not received offers from any club.

Perez who made this known while reacting to reports that the Portuguese born goal scorer had made irreversible decision to leave Spain, due primarily to allegation of tax fraud pressed against him by Spanish authorities.

Perez said “It has affected me how the media treated Cristiano, the presumption of innocence was not respected. I believe everyone must comply with their tax obligations and I know that Cristiano always does things the right way."

He added that “Cristiano has the same corporate structure he had in England, where he spent many years without problems. I am sure that Cristiano complies with his tax obligaions; it must be a confusion that will be cleared. All I can say is that Cristiano Ronaldo has a contract with Madrid.
