Reports indicate that Manchester United are making arrangements to offer its shot stopper, De Gea plus cash to secure the signing of Ronaldo and Alvaro Morata.

The decision was said to be informed by Madrid's unrelenting pursuit for the signature of De Gea and Old Trafford's desire to facilitate a reunion with Ronaldo who left the club in 2009 for the Spanish giant.

Although Ronaldo's release clause is believed to be at the region of £1bn, United is rumoured to be preparing a bid of about £175 million to lure the world best striker to his old club.

Book makers are optimistic that the deal might pull through since Ronaldo had told his former Coach, Alex Ferguson about his intention to quit Spain over 6 weeks ago.

Real Madrid Coach, Zinedane Zidane has however made it clear he wants Ronaldo to remain at the club.
