French Champion, Paris Saint-Germain have intensified efforts toward securing a deal for Brazil sensational star, Neymar. According to Dailypost, the club has expressed its willingness to activate his release clause of €222m and make the player the highest paid player in European football history by offering him a five year deal said to be in the region of £596,000 a week after tax.
The deal is yet to be cemented as the club is reported to be meeting with his father, who doubles as his agent today.
Meanwhile, Barcelona have restated their resolve not to release the player. Yesterday, the club mandated the player to publicly denounce reports that he had agreed in principle to join PSG.
