Alvaro Morata has confirmed his rumored move to English Premier League Champion, Chelsea Football Club. According to Marca, the Spanish International stated that he had no regret playing for Real Madrid neither was he disappointed at the way he was treated at the Club. He expressed delight that the Club that had always wanted him have finally secured a deal to facilitate his exit from Spain.

Morata pushed for his departure from Madrid after it became obvious that he was not Zinedan Zidane's first choice attacker. Last season, he scored a total of twenty goals, coming from the bench most of the time.
At Chelsea, he is expected to replace Diego Costa who has since been considered surplus to requirement by the Italian gaffer, Antonio Conte. Morata will join his new team mates in the coming days after his medicals.
