Liberian football official and CAF executive member, Musa Hassan Bility has been banned from football games for 10 years by FIFA over misappropriation of funds.
The ethics committee of the football governing body on Wednesday found Bility guilty of receiving benefits and misappropriating FIFA funds, which violates the FIFA code of ethics.
Bility who was a former president of the Liberian Federation (LFA) was also fined 500,000 swiss francs equating to $507,300.
On Monday, Bility said he would contest FIFA's decision to have Fatma Samoura, the Secretary-General of FIFA oversee the overhauling of CAF.
The ban, however, came after the Liberian was investigated following the audit of LFA's financial accounts by FIFA.
Bility has disclosed that he would appeal to the Switzerland-base court as he claimed that the ban is a breach of CAF's legal statutes.
