The period of injury woes may be over for Manchester United as the Manager, Jose Mourinho has declared Paul Pogba, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Marcos Rojo fit for selection as action resumes in the Premier League on Saturday. Mourinho made the disclosure on Friday during an interview with Manchester United Television.
According to him "the players that stayed here and were recovering from injuries, even the ones that are recovering from big injuries, they are ready to play."
When asked to be specific about those returning from injury, the coach added
"Pogba, Ibrahimovic and Marcos Rojo".
Ibrahimovic and Rojo suffered knee ligament damage in April during a Europa Cup match against Anderlect. Ibra whose contract had expired at the end of the season got a new deal that could see him in Old Trafford till the end of the current campaign.
Pogba has been on the sideline since two months ago after limping out of a Champion's League clash against Basel. It was later disclosed that he suffered hamstring injury.
The return of the three players could further strengthen the squad as United prepare to face Newcastle on Saturday.
Manchester United is currently second on the log.
