The Vice-President, Prof.Yemi Osinbajo flagged off the N120 billion Bodo-Bonny road projects. The ground breaking ceremony took place at Bonny. The cost of the project will be funded by the federal government and Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG) with each contributing 50% of the total cost.

The VP said the Bonny-Bodo multi-billion naira historic road which links the island to upland Rivers state will attract the much needed fresh investments in the oil and gas sector in the state.

 

The added that the road project is part of the unprecedented over N1.2T infrastructure expenditure rolled out by the Buhari’s administration as part of his new vision for the Niger Delta.
