The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has disclosed plans to display the voter register for persons captured in the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) from July 24 to 28. The Commission's Director of Voter Education and Publicity, Oluwole Osaze-Uzzi stated this on Friday in an interview with NAN.
He stated that the move was to afford new registrants the opportunity to verify their details and effect necessary correction before the Permanent Voter cards are printed. He also advised those who registered to visit their centres for the exercise “Persons who registered are advised to once again visit their registration centres and check the details of their registration,’’ he said.
Osaze-Uzzi also disclosed that the CVR for the second quarter will commence from July 31.
