The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and its allies have said it will commence on a nationwide strike over minimum wage issues today, Wednesday.
The organized labour had on Tuesday said it will embark on a nationwide strike today, in protest over the alleged plan by some members of the National Assembly (NASS) to remove the Minimum wage from the Executive Legislative list to the concurrent legislative list
Members of organized labour will be mobilizing at unity Fountain to proceed to the National Assembly complex in protest.
Meanwhile, some state chapters of NLC have commenced on the strike action.
