Ikoyi Building Collapse: Gov. Sanwo-Olu Declares Three-Days Mourning

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has on Thursday declared three days of mourning over the Ikoyi building collapse on Monday, leaving over 35 persons dead. The Commisioner for Information and Strategy, Mr. Gbenga Omotoso disclosed this in a statement, noting that all flags in public and private buildings would be flown half mast during the period.

Nigerian Troops Neutralize Biafra National Guard Fighter In Abia

Troops conducting Exercise Golden Dawn in the South East have neutralized one of the Biafran National Guard gunmen. The incident happened on Thursday when the gunmen attacked the troops’ location at Amaekpu, Ohafia Local Government Area of Abia State.
