Police in Lagos have apprehended two of the suspected robbers that invaded the home of popular Nigerian Comic Actor, John Okafor also known as Mr Ibu during the weekend.

According to report, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Superintendent, Chike Oti confirmed the arrest and that the two suspects had been transferred to the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), for further investigation.

Recall that robbers stormed the residence of the actor on Saturday, about 4:25 am, while he was away and reportedly carted away cash and personal effects worth over N14M.

The arrest could bring a feeling of respite to the actor and his family who are still counting their losses.

The comedian suffered a similar fate in 2008 and 2011 when his home was attacked by suspected kidnappers who abducted his wife and son and demanded millions in ransom.
