The National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons and other related matters on Thursday said it has rescued 19 women at the Central Business District area of Abuja, who were allegedly being trafficked to Saudi Arabia. The Head of Public Relations, Josiah Emerole made this known in a statement issued to newsmen in Abuja.

Two families have reportedly sued the richest man in Africa, Aliko Dangote and his companies over alleged killing of their members in accidents involving his company's truck. According to court papers filed before the Lagos State Multi-Door Courthouse and obtained by Punch, the accident occurred on January 9, 2018 along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

The Lagos State Police Command on Wednesday uncovered and sealed an illegal brewery where malt drinks and fake stout are produced at Egbe-Afa, Igbobo area of Ikorodu in Lagos. The Commissioner of Police, Imohimi Edgal who conducted newsmen around the facility disclosed that five of the suspects behind the factory had been arrested and would soon be charged to cook.

The Department of State Services in collaboration with Operatives of Operation Lafiya Dole on Tuesday said they have arrested a Boko Haram expert who specializes in making Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) for the group. The development was made known in a statement issued by Deputy Director Public Relations Theatre Command Operation Lafiya Dole, Colonel Onyema Nwachukwu.
