Nollywood blockbuster supernatural comedy with lots of humour and heart film, Banana Island Ghost (BIG), is set to premiere in the UK on Sunday, October 20. The premiere will be held at Odeon Greenwich, Bugsby Way, London. BIG is a slapstick comedy about a ghost that is scared to go to heaven because he never had a soulmate, so he convinces God to give him three days to fall in love.

He is paired with the cantankerous firecracker – Ijeoma, played by comedienne, actress and singer, Chigul– who will do anything to save her father’s house in Banana Island from the bank coming to reclaim it in three days.

The movie stars Ali Nuhu, Bimbo Manuel, Damilola Adegbite, Dorcas Fapson, Patrick Diabuah, Saheed Balogun, Tomiwa Edun, and Uche Jombo. It is the first of five films in a co-production partnership between Biola Alabi Media (BAM) and Nemsia Films.

BIG was released in the summer of 2017 in Nigeria. It grossed N35 million in its first week at the box office. The red carpet of the London premiere will commence by 7pm while the film will be viewed by 8:45pm.
