Popular Nigerian comedian, Seyi Law said one of his dreams that are yet to be fulfilled is to perform at a full capacity Madison Square Garden in New York. The comedian stated this yesterday on his Instagram page.
He posted a picture of himself in front of Madison Square and captured it as follows
"Someday, I will hold the microphone to entertain a full capacity here. It is a dream and it is achievable."
Madison Square is a Public Square formed by the intersection of Fifth Avenue and Broadway at 23rd street in New York City borough of Manhattan. It is popularly called the "The Garden". It is a multi-purpose indoor arena in New York and can accommodate about 21, 000 people.
According to Wikipedia, the square was named after James Madison, the fourth United States President. It added that 'The Garden' was officially opened to the public in May 1847 and had since undergone several structural modifications.
The recent of such restructuring was initiated in 1979. The privately funded project was targeted at cleaning up the park. The second phase of the restructuring exercise started in 1986 and was aimed at full-scale restoration of the park. In 1997, the New York Department of Parks
and Recreation also organized a fund raising program to completely revitalize the park.
It is reputed to be one of the most visited sites in the United States. In 1985, the Garden hosted the Inaugural WrestleMania presented by World Wrestling Federation. It is usually booked daily for several events.
