Nigerian music star and Ojuelegba crooner, Wizkid, has won three prestigious international awards in 2017 Billboard Music Awards. The StarBoy sensational singer was nominated in seven categories at the event held Sunday at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, United States.

Nigerian star artiste, Wizkid, has been nominated for seven awards at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards scheduled to hold at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, United States on Sunday.
Wizkid’s hit collabo with Drake & Kyla on One Dance last year earned him all the nominations. Wizkid is the only Nigerian artiste to be nominated this year.

Popular Yoruba actress Moji Olaiya has died according to multiple reports. The actress was aged 42, born February 27th, 1975.
Moji has been based in Canada for sometime where she put to bed in March 2017. She starred in movies such as “No Pains No Gain,” “Nkan Adun” and “Agunbaniro”. She was one of the daughters of legendary musician Victor Olaiya.

In the list released by Swiss filmmaker and leader of the Jury for the awards, Bernie Goldblat, Nigerian movies got 43 out of the total 136 nominations in competitive categories.
